BACKUP EXEC RALUS AGENT FOR LINUX – FAILED TO BROWSE [ROOT]

PROBLEM – BACKUP White House RALUS AGENT FOR UNIX system – FAILURE TO BROWSE [ROOT]
Recently I put in the Backup White House Agent for UNIX system (RALUS) on to one or two of SLES servers. The installation went fine with no errors, however once attempting to make backup jobs i used to be obtaining some reasonably permissions issue “Failure to browse [ROOT]”

CAUSE:
After some excavation I found there was a .gvfs folder underneath a users home folder that root failed to have permissions to.

When I ran the command realize / -name be remote whereas logged on via SSH as root i used to be obtaining the below permissions denied message.

SOLUTION:
I found a couple of alternative webpages with individuals having permission problems with .gvfs such as;

https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/387162-permission-denied-on-gvfs

The solution that worked on behalf of me was to run the below commands;

umount
/home/<useraccount>/.gvfs
find . -inum 554009 -exec rm{} \;
rm -rf .gvfs

After that backup White House was ready to browse the server and therefore the credentials tested realize.

UPDATE: once fix the server at a later date I had to re-apply the fix.
